A body of 1,174 bibliographic records has entered the archive, covering olive literature from the early twentieth century to the present. Each record carries its authors, year, journal or publisher, volume and pages, and where the source provided one, the DOI or the address of the paper online.

The authors have been added to the same author list used by the rest of the archive, so that the new papers can be reached by author name like any other: 2,743 names were new to the archive, for a total of 4,595 author attributions.

Keywords needed a decision. In the source they were written as free text, one field per paper, and they are extremely varied: 3,501 distinct terms, of which more than eight in ten occur only once, and several are whole sentences rather than terms. Adding all of them to the searchable vocabulary would have made it four times larger and correspondingly less useful. Terms that recur, or that already belonged to the archive vocabulary, were added and linked — 702 of them. The remaining terms are preserved in the notes of the paper they came from, so nothing has been thrown away.

Thirty-one records in the source were not imported: separator rows used to mark the batches, entries repeated within the source itself, and papers already present in the archive, which were not duplicated. A small number of author names in the source are incomplete — a surname with no initials, or a fragment of a citation left in the author field — and are being completed by hand.
